چکیده

In this work, characteristics of top-emitting organic light-emitting devices (TEOLEDs) having Ag and Au as anode had been investigated. When using the same emitting materials, the performance of TEOLEDs employing Ag as anode was superior to that of the device using Au as anode. Finally, by using the appropriate dopant instead of Alq as emitter, a TEOLED with high power efficiency (8.7 lm/w with luminance of 640 cd/m), almost independent on viewing angle had been reported. 2007 Elsevier B.V. Influences of Device Architectures on Characteristics of Organic Light-Emitting Devices Incorporating Ambipolar Blue-Emitting Ter(9,9-diarylfluorenes)

In this article, we report the studies of various device architectures of organic lightemitting devices (OLEDs) incorporating highly efficient blue-emitting and ambipolar carriertransport ter(9,9-diarylfluorene)s, and their influences on device characteristics. The device structures investigated include single-layer devices and multilayer heterostructure devices employing the terfluorene as one...

Fabrication of blue top - emitting organic light - emitting devices with highly saturated color q

Blue top-emitting organic light-emitting devices (TOLEDs) with highly saturated color were developed by microcavity effect. The device structure studied was glass/reflective silver/indium-tin oxide (ITO)/organic electroluminescent stack/semi-transparent cathode (calcium/silver). By changing the thicknesses of ITO and organic layers in the microcavity structure device doped with p-bis(p-N, Ndi-p...

Thin-film Encapsulation of Organic Light-Emitting Diodes Using Single and Multilayer Structures of MgF2, YF3 and ZnS

In this research, the lifetime of green organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) is studied using four passivation layers. To encapsulate the OLEDs, MgF2, YF3, composed of alternating MgF2/ZnS and YF3/ZnS layers were grown by thermal vacuum deposition. Measurements show that the device lifetime is significantly improved by using YF3 and ZnS as passivation layers. However, diodes encapsulated by Mg...

P-128: Inverted Top-Emitting Organic Light-Emitting Devices Using Vanadium Pentoxide as Anode Buffer Layer

Inverted top-emitting organic light-emitting devices (ITOLEDs) employing thin film of vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) capped with vacuum deposited semitransparent silver layer as top anode were studied. The devices consisted of C-545T doped in Alq3 as emitting layers exhibited a maximum external current efficiency of ~11cd/A and a turn on voltage of ~6.4V.We attribute the good performance of the devi...

Integrated three-color organic light-emitting devices

We report a demonstration of the integration of individual polymer-based light emitting devices of three different colors on the same substrate. Orange, green, and blue color devices are sequentially fabricated on the same indium–tin oxide ~ITO! coated glass substrate coated with a patterned insulator on the ITO, by the spin coating of polymer thin films, the vacuum deposition of top metal cont...
